The 10th Annual Feed A Friend Thanksgiving Event

Gloria & Emilio Estefan & Estefan Kitchen, have once again partnered with local organizations in South Florida, this holiday season, to serve Thanksgiving Day meals to friends and families in need of assistance at the 10th annual Estefan Kitchen Thanksgiving Day "Feed A Friend" event.

Over the past 9 years, this annual event has served more than 14,000 meals to families in transition. This year families will join together to enjoy a Thanksgiving Day feast that includes the traditional American dishes alongside Cuban classics prepared by Estefan Kitchen and the students at the Miami Culinary Institute. Families in attendance will also enjoy live music as well as kids' activities, including face painting, Christmas cookie decorating, and a special visit from Santa Claus.

Families and members from Amigo Together for Kids, Big Brothers, Big Sisters (Dade/Broward), Here’s Help, Hispanic Unity of Florida, Military Affairs Board and SOS Children’s Villages Florida will join the Estefan’s on this day of thanks.

“This is our favorite event of the year because it gives us the opportunity not just to "feed a friend" but to share time with them and celebrate our human connection," says Gloria Estefan
